est diplômée en psychologie, maitrise en conception théâtrale à l'UQAM puis honorée d'un doctorat en beaux arts de Northumbria University en Angleterre. Elle débute sa carrière en mode en ouvrant sa propre boutique avec d’autres designers à Montréal.Puis elle continue dansl e monde théâtral et télévisé, où elle collabore avec Le Cirque du Soleil,J uste pour Rire, Avanti production et l’Opéra de McGill. Elle habille plusieurs célébrités telles qu’Alain Choquette, Stephane Rousseau et François Léveillé. Elle est professeure permanente à California State University Stanislaus. Aujourd’hui, elle partage son temps entre sa position d’enseignement, lac réation, des expositions professionnelles et comme présentateur d’ateliers pour le monde corporatif. Dr. Caroline Mercier has taught, designed and exhibited her work for more than 15 years. She originally started in fashion design and after opening her own boutique and creating lines, moved on to performance art. As a costume designer, she is the recipient of a Les Masques award, the Quebecois equivalent to the Tony. She has collaborated on Les Miserables in New York, Le Cirque du Soleil and Robert Lepage. She has also dressed many famous personalities such as Stephane Rousseau, Carol Channing, Rosanne Barr, Dennis Leary and Drew Carey. As a make-up artist, she has worked on sets in Hollywood and Las Vegas, in the upcoming Death and Cremation movie starring Brad Dourif and Jeremy Sumpter as well as the latest Cirque du Soleil show Iris. She is a consultant for IPExperts where she recently helped on a legal case for Victoria Secret in NY. She spent 5 years in the British Isles, studying and creating new work. Her PhD Fine Arts, specialized in Costume and Textile Design is the first one of its kind in the Western World. She has been invited as a guest artist in residence in Art Centers in England, Ireland, France and Thailand and is a published author. She is now a full-time University Professor in California, and the founder and main speaker for the CCA, giving workshops and presentations across North America. est diplômée de l’Option-Théâtre du Cégep Lionel-Groulx depuis 1990. Depuis vingt ans, on peut la voir autant au petit écran que sur les planches. Au théâtre, elle a joué dans plus de vingt productions dont la pièce «Mars et Vénus» à l’été 2009. À la télévision, elle est, entre autre, reporter à l’émission «Sucré-Salé» mais son rôle le plus marquant est celui de Judith Gravel dans la populaire série «Histoires de filles». En plus d’être comédienne et reporter, Catherine a été directrice artistique de sa compagnie, enseignante au college LaSalle et a récemment obtenu son agrément de formatrice par la Commission des partenaires en milieu de travail.

In theatre, she has played in more then 20 productions, including "Mars et Venus" in 2009. On television, she is, many others, reprter for the acclaimed "Sucre-Sale", but her most recognized role is the one of Judith Gravel in the popular sitcom "Histoires de filles". Furthermore, Catherinewas the artistic director of her own theatre company. After getting accredited as a Trainer in the workplace, she now teaches at LaSalle College, as well as continues her studies in more specialized areas of communication.
